Confidence tarnished, Joshua Yuchasz first struggled to ignore his mocking peers when they ridiculed him for obsessing over snakes and lizards, or for knowing so much about volcanoes and tornadoes. When he learned that he had Asperger’s Syndrome, he could have allowed the perspectives of others to damage how he sees himself, but his confidence grew as he realized that his differences could lead him to great things, even a gene engineer. When we take pride in what makes us different, our confidence will only grow.
I admire my mom. One of my mom's values is that she has patience. My mom is always patient while we are waiting for my scores at my gymnastics meets or when my brother has a hockey tournament that is a log car ride. My mom was also patient over the summer when my dog got sick and had to be taken to the vet. My mom waited all day until the vet told her if my dog was going to be ok. Those are some of the reasons why my mom has patience.
DeleteI admire Luke Skywalker, the character and I guess the actor. Mark Hamill got really famous from the role but that doesn’t mean I admire him for his money. l admire Luke for his courage and loyalty to the fight that he lives to win. He never gave up, (even though he tricked everyone in the new movie) after the death of his friends and family, it all just pushed him forward to keep fighting (courage) and to not give up (loyalty).

DeleteHave you ever had someone who has always there for you in the bad times. Well that person for me is my great grandma. One value is before she died one year ago it told me that your right hand backup or hel would not always be there. My second value from her is that she always gave me advice when I was bullied. My third value is that she would let me spill out everything and then gave me advice. Now you know someone who gave me many values in mylife.

You grandmother seemed to be highly observant and caring for you, which is exactly what members of our government need to express. In order to properly serve America's constituents, politicians must be looking out for their them in order to maintain order and help us all out. DeleteI believe that leading is better than following. I admire my mom for leading my whole family for a good part of our lives. The value my mom takes on is leadership. She has dedication on leading a family of 4. She has had many times when her kids annoy her or beg her for something they want. While hearing the terrible screams that are coming out of the 7 year old for not getting the toy she wanted she is also running around and buying hundreds of dollars worth of groceries but my mom somehow gets her to shut up. Showing us the good in life is the role that she plays, leadership.

DeleteI admire my aunt Grace. I admire her, because she is a positive person, who always finds the good in things. My aunt Grace is always fun to be around. She is a teacher in Schenectady. If I ask her for help and she doesn't know she always has a way to find out the answer. She helps whenever she can. She will buy my sisters and I whatever we need. She does her best and works very hard for what she wants. She helps me with schoolwork if I need it and her students. She manages to work and have time to relax and have fun. My aunt Grace is a funny, smart, kind, and caring person.

DeleteMy mom has always been a hard worker. She is at work for at least 8 hours a day. My mom works at BBL hospitality and she is the vice president of the hotels and resturant part of the company. She deals with aggrivating people all day and still comes home and makes us dinner and takes us places. My mom is selfless for that reason. She also has a lot of dedication. She is dedicated to helping our family with anything, anytime. She never fails to remember an appointment like the doctors or dentist. when I grow up I want to be like my mom, hardworking, selfless, and dedicated.

DeleteOne person that I look up to is my mother. I look up to her because she has gone through a lot of things.She is also a very successful woman. She has two jobs and takes care of me. And she is always there for me when i'm sad, nervous about something and when i'm sick. She always goes to my games and never misses them. Even when she's away, she facetimes me so she can watch the game. She is the one that always makes me laugh even in a serious situation. When I fractured my growth plate I was devastated because I can't play any sports for two weeks.But she was the one that told me to always think positive and not negative.

DeleteSomeone who I admire is my sister Jenna. She’s one of the most successful people I know personally, and she’s only 18. Jenna got straight A’s (mostly) all through high school which resulted in her getting almost $80,000 in scholarships for colleges all around the country. Jenna also saved her money for years before she moved out. This allowed her to buy a house, instead of living in a dorm or apartment and allowed her to buy a new car. Jenna is someone who I look up to a lot, I learned from her experiences and really she showed me that the good you do now will pay off in the future.

DeleteHave you or someone you knew started with nothing and then made something big out of nothing? With strong perseverance my great grandpa did exactly that. He came from ireland to the united states in the late 1920s, he came here with a few dollores and the closes that he was wearing. When he became a citizen he invented a type of air conditioner and got a pateen on it. He sold the pateen and got some money from it. With that money he started a heating and air conditioning company in new york city. The company grew to over 100 employees. I think that everyone can learn from him that you can make nothing into something big.

As more and more people are given everything easier through technology not as many people have the qualities of hardwork and dedication. This is important in today's society and from your paragraph I can see that your grandpa had that characteristic.

ReplyDeleteKyrie Irving three ways to describe him would be Skill, Leadership, and above all else confidence.
The reason why I say that he has skill is simple. He is a professional basketball player. He puts in countless hours trying to perfect his dribbling, passing and offensive abilities with the ball.
I also picked leadership reason why him and Lebron stepped up their game and carried the team. In the first games he was averaging 15 points and losing then in those elimination games he averaged 25 points, and helped the Cavaliers. One of my other points for this claim is that he has recently carried the Boston Celtics to a 17 game win streak with averaging 21 points per game. In that win streak he has played teams like the Bucks, Thunder, and Warriors. Which are all teams going above 500 at the time of this.
My final trait for Kyrie, and why I admire him is his confidence. He has the guts to take the big shots when his team needs it. One example: Game 7 NBA Finals against the all time winningest team the Golden State Warriors. He had Klay Thompson on him the JR Smith set a screen to put him on Steph Curry. He did a crossover pulled up fading away in his face, and it went in.
That is why I admire Kyrie Irving, and also he is a good person. He gave presents to kids a Christmas day. He just overall a good ball player, and a good person.
Leadership is a characteristic that is needed in the modern world because if you don't lead yourself you're going to be left behind the others. No one is picked up and carried their whole life, you have to be your own leader.

DeleteHave you ever watched the ocean pull in all the pebbles on the shore, and seen that one pebble embedded in the sand, determined to stand its ground? That powerful little stone in my mom. My mom has been there for me on so many occasions where other mothers would have just walked away. It doesn't matter if she's really stressed or having problems of her own;she is always up to talk. She drops everything to bring me to horse shows and does everything she can just so I can succeed, even if that means making sacrifices. She is unselfish and determined to see that I have every opportunity possible.

Perseverance and courage are very important not just in the army but also at home! If everyone had the same characteristics as a soldier the world would have no enemies, everyone would stand up for what they thought was right! It would be awesome.
DeleteOne person I truly admire is my sister, Mariellis. She is very successful in everything she does. She works hard at anything and everything she does, even if she doesn't enjoy that certain subject. She gets straight A's most of the time and if she doesn't she tries her best to improve it. She got a job immediately when she turned sixteen and is currently saving up for future collages. When she was my age, she was very friend-oriented and didn't really focus on her grades as much, but she has grown from her mistakes greatly and is now on the path of becoming a very successful adult!

My uncle Mickey is always in a good mood and is always happy. He’s always cracking up jokes and always being funny. My uncle is always making everyone else happy.
